Online Training: CPD

What is a webinar?

Is a virtual CPD “event” taking place online, across the internet. Participants “connect” to a presenter’s computer to view presentations and other documents with full audio and video stream. Any session can include as many observers as you wish. My webinars include a range of interactive features to increase participant engagement – e.g. instant polls with immediate results; live Twitter feeds and photographs; as well as multiple presenters who can be based elsewhere. The event will be recorded and archived as a refresher and as a resource for participants who may not be able to attend. The platform delivery uses Citrix GoToWebinar ®, a leading webinar-platform, renowned for usability and stability.

So, why webinars?

I am inundated with requests to lead staff training sessions all over the UK. This is virtually impossible to do whilst working full-time as a senior teacher. As much as I enjoy working with other teachers and getting out and about to visit schools in different contexts, my primary focus is on my own work in school. Webinars allow me to reach my audience without having to leave my school; or travel long distances. This means I get to stay home as much as possible and be with family … I can tailor content to suit you; just ask! The training is informal, recorded and interactive. It’s the perfect solution for me and I’m confident you will enjoy the session too. If you really want me to visit you and your school, book here.

    Many thanks
