This is a form to commission Ross Morrison McGill (@TeacherToolkit) to work for you.

This agreement (“Agreement”) is between {YOU}, henceforth referred to as “Commissioner,” and {Ross Morrison McGill}, henceforth referred to as the “@TeacherToolkit,” and is executed this {date} day of {month}, {year} as entered via this form.

Commissioner and @TeacherToolkit are entering into this Agreement for the purposes of completing {description of work and/or other publications/events/conferences covered under this Agreement, including any work to be defined and estimated length}, herein referred to as the “Work.” As such, Commissioner and @TeacherToolkit agree to the following provisions as stated on the form below

Method. In order to accomplish the Work, @TeacherToolkit will {description of how Commissioner and @TeacherToolkit intend to work together, including any mandatory meetings, times that @TeacherToolkit is expected to work, etc.}.

Plagiarism. @TeacherToolkit agrees that all work created for Commissioner is {his/her} own unique work, and does not borrow from any other copyrighted work.

Deadline. @TeacherToolkit will have {the agreed amount} of the Work done by {deadline date}. {include additional deadlines as agreed with 30 days notice; and explain if the Commissioner will have access to the work at any point during the writing process}.

Payment. Payment for the work will be delivered according to the following schedule: {outline the payment plan. Is @TeacherToolkit getting an advance, money at the halfway point, etc.?}.

Royalties. @TeacherToolkit will be entitled to any royalties, residuals, or commissions upon sale of the Work. Total payment for @TeacherToolkit is {amount in sterling pounds (£p)}, payable according to the terms listed here.

Copyrights. The Commissioner will own the work, including any copyrights and sale or distribution rights.

Credit. Credit for the Work will {indicate if @TeacherToolkit will be the only credit on the Work, or if there will be an “by” or “with” credit for @TeacherToolkit}.

Confidentiality. @TeacherToolkit acknowledges that the Commissioner will have access to certain privileged information during the course of this project. @TeacherToolkit agrees to keep all information confidential from any and all third parties, during and after the course of this project.

Termination. @TeacherToolkit will have the right to terminate this Agreement at any point. Should the Commissioner terminate @TeacherToolkit’s services, the Commissioner will be required to pay @TeacherToolkit for completed work, according to the provisions outlined in the “Payment” section of this agreement. Where no staggered payment has been agreed, the time when Work was first agreed to meet a final ‘expected deadline’ will be divided on a pro-rata basis to calculate costs due.

Similarly, @TeacherToolkit will have the right to end this agreement at any point with the Commissioner; regardless of the amount of work or length of time @TeacherToolkit has already completed.

Both parties will respect 30 days’ notice.

All work will be credited to Ross Morrison McGill (@TeacherToolkit) in all publication formats.

The Commissioner and Writer agree to the above terms, and undersign (as per this document form below) here to that effect.
